Content providers would not be paid for publishing information on the ITS Observatory platform. However, they could be "rewarded" through the quality of the published content and the amount of users who have seen and read their content.

ITS Observatory gives the possibility for the most active content providers to become "super users". Super users benefit from a higher reliability rate within the ITS Observatory community; hence their experience and the organisations they belong to become more popular on the platform. 

ITS Observatory is an interactive information marketplace with features to support a dynamic ITS Community of public authorities, system owners and suppliers, service providers and users, helping

ITS Observatory is interactive, innovative and unique. There is no other online platform dedicated exclusively to ITS Deployment on a European scale.

ITS Observatory has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme for the period 1 May 2015 – 31 October 2017. 

ITS experts and owners can publish meta data (short summarised text) on projects, deployments, technologies and systems. The platform gives possibility to describe the project or the deployed type of ITS, where it has been implemented, who and how, what objectives, which problems and challenges have been tackled, what results and who to contact for more information.

Users can also post links to other sources (documents, videos, websites, and portals).

ITS Observatory content providers can also publish articles, latest news and events, success stories.

Super users could be invited to join the ITS Observatory Editorial Board which offers many advantages.
