INFOBESI is key utility for traffic accidents locality analysis (black spots) in Czech Republic. It is used for the legal statistics monitoring, traffic safety measures suggestion and for effectivity monitoring of used measures. In the INFOBESI system there are stored and evaluated information and data of all traffic accidents that hapens within Czech Republic teritorry. The data comes from official police databases which makes the outputs of the INFOBESI system as reliable as possible.
The IoT Week gathers the community of stakeholders engaged in developing new Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and solutions. During the IoT Week 2018, the Euskalduna Conference Centre will host prominent IoT experts, researchers, IoT focused companies, research centres, European research projects, start-ups and international organizations to meet, discuss and identify emerging trends and technologies that will impact the future. The event is co-organized by the IoT Forum and IK4-TEKNIKER.
From 16.-19. April 2018 Europes biggest Transport Research Conference, the Transport Research Arena, will take place in Vienna. Under the motto "a digital era for transport. solutions for society, economy and environment" about 3.000 international experts will discuss about the latest research results and future developments in mobility and transport.
The Transport Research Arena (TRA), initiated in 2006, takes place every two years in another European city. The TRA is supported by the European Commission, the European Technology Platforms ERTRAC (European Road Transport Research Advisory Council), ERRAC (European Rail Research Advisory Council), WATERBORNE as well as CEDR (Conference of European Directors of Roads) and ALICE (Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration).
DIC Brno system ensures the traffic data collection from telematics devices and detectors and traffic information in the City of Brno area. DIC Brno process that data and provide the complex information to the traffic engineers, users from city road management authorities and to the public via web or mobile application.
The scope of the project was a construction and system implementation of complex solution for traffic information provision. The performance of the contract include:
• 51 gantry with Variable Message Signs (VMS) hardware,
• the connection and system integration with the current traffic information and management system
• implementation of new software solution for the latest VMS generation control with ability to influence the traffic by automatic traffic management scenario selection.
